Falls from work at height is a major hazard for many industries. People who work at height should receive appropriate training to understand the associated hazards and appropriate risk management controls. This course has been designed for those that may be required to work at heights and use safety harnesses and fall arrest equipment. The course is relevant to those who work at height and use safety harnesses and fall arrest equipment or those that are required to supervise others that work at height.

Our Blue Energy course covers training in the dangers of working at height, and familiarisation with the use and application of harnesses and fall protection systems.

Delegates will be provided with a thorough understanding of legislation & definitions of ‘Work at Height Regulations’; Hazard Identification and Risk Management dangers associated with this type of work and how to implement the regulations and safe practices into their workplace; Scaffold Inspections; Safe Use of Ladders/Steps and (Mobile Extended Work Platform) MEWPs; and inspection care and maintenance of equipment.
